New River Gorge, West Virginia (Parts 1 & 2)
Our trip to the newest National Park in the US, New River Gorge, West Virginia. Will this was a little early in the year to visit, we just couldn't wait. This park has some stunning views and was worth the trip! We would like to go back during the summer or fall to see how different it looks when all of the trees have foliage.
There is not as many hotels here as the park is relatively new and the area is not as developed, but give it some time and I'm sure there will be plenty to do and more places to stay. However I still recommend this trip as it is a great chance to go and see a National park before it gets too busy. Also in the summer there even more to do with whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and other hikes... can not wait to go back and do some of these.
