As we venture into Late 2023, These are some of my favorite camera accessories that we use constantly. • 1 TB CFexpress Type A Card: One of the most best developments in 2023 was the introduction of an affordable 1 TB CFexpress Type A card. As cameras continue to produce higher-resolution images and 4K, 6K, and even 8K video footage becomes the new standard, you are going to need more high-speed and larger storage. The biggest upgrade is the offload time…. There is a significant boost from the 250MB/s of the UHS-II cards I have used in the past to the nearly 800 MB/s of the CF Express Type A . While these cards are not cheap by any means Angelbrird has really made it affordable with cutting the price in half versus the Sony CF Express type A. This is what makes it #3 on my favorite camera Accessories
  

• Polar Pro Recon Matte Box: Light control is a crucial aspect of cinematography, and the Polar Pro Recon Matte Box stands out as one of our most used accessories. This Matte box is almost always in our camera bag along with the included Variable Neutral Density filter (VND) firmly attached to our lens. When shooting in log in bright sunny situations its hard keep the camera from over exposing even at high f-stops. It’s even harder when you are trying to keep a shallow depth of field....This is why this is one of our most used accessories and gets the number two spot.
